Welcome to the Ashton Estates WEB site. The purpose of this site is to provide all Residents with consistent, up to date information in our neighborhood. It will be updated regularly. Please feel free to forward constructive comments and or suggestions.

Construction has been taking place at the Ashton Estates subdivision pool as we are currently replacing the cracked concrete in sections as well as removal of the red bricks on the pool deck. This will make it a smooth transition as the entire pool deck area will be cement, as well as appearance and structure of the remaining pool deck will be consistent. This is preventative maintenance. The project completion is expected shortly and then the pool cover will be placed on the pool.

Our Mission: It is the mission of the Board of Directors to ensure that our home and property values maintain or increase. We will accomplish this by ensuring that our community is aesthetically pleasing, providing an interactive atmosphere for all residents and managing the resources of the Association in a fiscally responsible manner.

Our Ashton Estates Subdivision has had great success with our new website at www.ashtonestateshoa.com which posts the HOA documents, pool rules, upcoming activities and information if you would like to contact a board member.

SUBDIVISION POOL
This past summer we had a new key card system installed with key cards being the only access into the subdivision pool. With the use of the pool web-cam and the new key card system, this seemed to assist with less mischievous activity at the pool this past season. A new improvement that will be added for next pool season will be a light installed in the parking lot to assist with security purposes. We will consider the homeowners in the area as far as the direction of this light upon installation.

*Keycards - each homeowner was issued two key cards to their home address, and those need to remain in your possession - when selling your house you may leave for the next homeowner and we will put their name in the keycard system. Please DO NOT destroy your cards, as the white key cards will be used each pool season. The cost for lost/stolen replacement of the card is $25.00 each, with damaged card replacement fee of 10.00. You may order additional cards on the attached Homeowners Due Statement.

LANDSCAPING
The landscaping company has done a wonderful job of maintaining the pool area, as well as the subdivision parameters. Bids were accepted on removal of the evergreen shrubs along 143rd Street - (Blackbob to Blackfeather) and the first row was removed this fall to maintain the appearance of the subdivision.

ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL APPROVAL
Architectural Control Approval is required before any permanent exterior change is made. The committee will review your change request upon notification from the homeowner. Architectural control helps to ensure that changes will fit in with the aesthetics of the surroundings. The look of your home impacts the look and value of your neighbor's home. The reverse is also true; what your neighbor does to the exterior of his home impacts your home value. The Architectural Control Committee works hard to quickly approve homeowner's requests.

YOU NEED ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL APPROVAL BEFORE BEGINNING EXTERIOR CHANGES TO YOUR HOME!!!!!
