Welcome to
the Ashton Estates WEB site. The purpose of this site is to provide
all Residents with consistent, up to date information in our neighborhood.
It will be updated regularly. Please feel free
to forward constructive comments and or suggestions.
MISSION
It is the mission of the Board of Directors to ensure that our home and
property values maintain or increase. We will accomplish this by ensuring
that our community is aesthetically pleasing, providing an interactive
atmosphere for all residents and managing the resources of the Association
in a fiscally responsible manner.
Volunteers
needed for closing the Ashton Estates pool. Please advise the best
evening; closing time is 10:00 p.m. We appreciate your commitment
to Ashton as you volunteer your time and close the pool, lock the
bathrooms, and padlock the gate.
This
year for each family that volunteers your reward at the end of the
summer is a "Pool Party", the pool party rules are on the
web-site, you will be entitled to book one pool party for your family
at NO CHARGE, hope this is an incentive for the summer; those pool
parties can be booked, after August 1, so I know you will keep your
commitment.
Days
of the week that closing is needed for are Wednesday, Thursday and
Saturday, please pick one day. Contact Stacy Boucher via e-mail at
debouche@juno.com; keys and
info will be provided.

MESSAGE FROM HOA
PRESIDENT
Our Ashton
Estates subdivision has had great success with our website at www.ashtonestateshoa.com
which posts the HOA documents, pool rules, upcoming activities and information
if you would like to contact a board member.
Thank you to the many volunteers that have assisted our subdivision by
volunteering their services such as electrical services provided by volunteers,
those that assisted with opening of the pool for the season, as well as
the many families that volunteer each summer in locking/closing the pool.
Your assistance is greatly appreciated in maintaining the appearance of
our subdivision.
Yours truly, Stacy
Boucher - President
SOCIAL EVENTS
Want to know what is going on in our subdivision? Check the Ashton Estates
website calendar - The fun continues.
SUBDIVISION POOL
This past summer we had great success with key cards being the only access
into the subdivision pool. With the use of the pool web-cam and the new
key card system, this seemed to assist with less mischievous activity
at the pool this past season. An improvement that we are considering is
having a light installed in the parking lot to assist with security purposes.
We will consider the homeowners in the area as far as the direction of
this light upon installation.
*Keycards
- each homeowner was issued two key cards to their home address, and
those need to remain in your possession - when selling your house you
should leave for the next homeowner and we will put their name in the
keycard system. Please DO NOT destroy your cards, as the white key cards
will be used each pool season. The cost for replacement of the card
is $25 each. You may order additional cards on the attached Homeowners
Due Statement.
LANDSCAPING
The landscaping company has done a wonderful job of maintaining the pool
area, as well as the subdivision parameters.
ARCHITECTURAL
CONTROL APPROVAL
YOU NEED ARCHITECTURAL CONTROL APPROVAL BEFORE BEGINNING EXTERIOR CHANGES
TO YOUR HOME!!!!!
Architectural Control Approval is required before any permanent exterior
change is made. The committee will review your change/request upon notification
from the homeowner. Please do not proceed with any improvement without
authorization, as stated in the by-laws. If proper procedures are not
obtained and your property does not meet with the requirements of the
subdivision, a possible lien on your property can be placed, as this
is stated in the by-laws. Architectural control helps to ensure that
changes will fit in with the aesthetics of the surroundings.
The look of your
home impacts the look and value of your neighbor's home. The reverse
is also true; what your neighbor does to the exterior of his home impacts
your home value. The Architectural Control Committee works hard to quickly
approve homeowner's requests.
