Pool Information 2010 Ashton Estates
Pool is closed for the season following Monday, September 6 at 9:00 p.m.; Labor Day.
Volunteers needed for closing the Ashton Estates pool. Please advise the best evening; closing time is 10:00 p.m. We appreciate your commitment to Ashton as you volunteer your time and close the pool, lock the bathrooms, and padlock the gate.
This year for each family that volunteers your reward at the end of the summer is a "Pool Party", the pool party rules are on the web-site, you will be entitled to book one pool party for your family at NO CHARGE, hope this is an incentive for the summer; those pool parties can be booked, after August 1, so I know you will keep your commitment.
Days of the week that closing is needed for are Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday, please pick one day. Contact Stacy Boucher via e-mail at debouche@juno.com; keys and info will be provided.
May 16 - Pool Preperation Day - please come assist with opening of the pool as we clean the surrounding area of the pool with trash pick-up, sweep the pool deck, wash and place all chairs around the perimeter of the pool, powerwash necessary areas in the pool, clean the pool-house, etc.
Also, that day pool tags will be available for pick-up. Please bring proper identification to pick up your pool tags, as a homeowner needs to sign for the pool tags, an adult. Pool tag and clean up is from 12 - 3p.m. Another option is to send $5 fee for mailing of your pool tags to 14337 S. Twilight Lane, Olathe, KS 66062. Additional key cards can be ordered at $25, per card.
May 28 - Pool opening - Pool hours are 10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.Families are needed to CLOSE the pool each evening, this responsibility involves LOCKING the pool at 10:00 p.m., one day, per week. A key is provided and you may pick one night of the week. Sign-up available at the Pool Opening, or you may contact debouche@juno.com.
POOL CLOSING VOLUNTEERS - Please contact Stacy Boucher debouche@juno.com, if you can assist the subdivision pool by closing the pool, one evening per week, as we keep the pool premises locked after 10:00 p.m.
Additional key cards can be ordered at $25, per card. Add $5 for optional delivery.

- POOL HOURS ARE 10:00 A.M. UNTIL 10:00 P.M.
- MEMBERS AND GUESTS ONLY
- POOL TAGS MUST BE WORN AND VISIBLE AT ALL TIMES
- AN ADULT MUST ACCOMPANY CHILDREN UNDER 12
- NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY, MEMBERS AND GUESTS SWIM AT THEIR OWN RISK
- ADULTS MUST REMAIN IN WADING POOL AREA WITH CHILDREN AT ALL TIMES
- SWIM DIAPERS ARE REQUIRED FOR INFANTS/TODDLERS
- APPROPRIATE SWIM WEAR - NO CUT-OFFS
- NO PETS ARE ALLOWED IN POOL AREA
- NO DIVING
- NO LOUD MUSIC
- PROPER BEHAVIOR AND LANGUAGE EXPECTED AT ALL TIMES
- NO HORSEPLAY, RUNNING, EXCESSIVE SPLASHING, OR OTHER ACTIVITIES CONSIDERED DANGEROUS OR DISRUPTIVE
- ADULT PARENT MUST ACCOMPANY MINOR CHILDREN AFTER 9 PM
- SKATEBOARDS, BICYCLES, ROLLERBLADES, SCOOTERS, ETC. ARE NOT ALLOWED IN THE POOL AREA
The association is not responsible for loss of personal items or any injuries that may occur while utilizing the pool or surrounding area.
The camera system in place monitors pool activity in the swimming area and surrounding parking lot. If a member of Ashton Estates is causing destruction or disruptive behavior to the facility, possible pool tag/card may be revoked.
It is your responsibility, as an Ashton Estates resident, if you notice disruptive behavior or a concern with activity at the pool, please contact the police department direct.
Pool Access:
We have a new lock on the pool. It is a "Proximity Lock". This means that all Households will be issued cards that will allow them access to the pool. Each household will be issued two cards. Additional cards may be purchased for $25.00 each.
In the event a card is lost or stolen, replacement cards will be issued at a cost of $25.00 Access cards will be issued at the same time as pool tags.
